how does it work?

Fill out our “Custom Mural Contact Form” and tell us about your mural idea.

HAVRE Graffiti will schedule a time with you to discuss the space you would like your custom mural, as well as a completely free estimate of how much your mural idea could cost.

If you have a logo or design all ready to go, HAVRE Graffiti will provide a visual of your completed mural and a complete quote. If you would like HAVRE Graffiti to design a mural for you based on your ideas, we will charge a $100 design deposit that is non-refundable. We can make as many edits and adjustments to the design as you would like to get it absolutely perfect. Once you approve the design, we will provide you a final quote for the mural project, and subtract the $100 design deposit from the final price.

If the final quote looks okay to you, we will send you a contract via email with all the good legal stuff. Once you sign the contract, you will pay the designated amount for supplies upfront, and we will order the specialty spray paint. Typically, the paint arrives in 7-10 business days. Once the paint arrives, we start painting! The rest of the balance for the mural will be due at completion of the mural.

And that’s it! The mural is completed and you can enjoy the new referrals to your business, or the impressed comments from your neighbors, and you will have a beautiful work of art for years to come!

Each mural is a custom work of art, which means each mural has a custom price tag. The larger and more detailed the mural, the more expensive the mural will be, as more paint colors will be required, and more time spent on painting the mural. Some super simple and smaller murals have cost only $400!
We use specialty spray paint that provides a high quality of coverage, UV protection, and allows us to use specialty caps to control the spray of the paint (which lets us do fine details). Interior spray paint costs a smidge more than exterior spray paint, but is worth it for the less dangerous fumes.
When you fill out the “Custom Mural Contact Form,” we will work hard to create a design for you so that we can provide you an accurate estimate as soon as possible.

Have you ever seen those trains with all the graffiti pass by? Some of those graffiti pieces have been on those trains for DECADES, and we use the same type of specialty spray paint.
The spray paint we use is formulated to resist yellowing and damage from UV light, and we also provide an optional clear coat to further seal and protect your mural for years and years to come. Rest assured your investment in a custom mural will last you far longer than a vinyl wrap, banner, or paint brushed mural.

As mentioned above, it’s tough to accurately quote a mural without having it fully designed. But we can certainly try to give you a ballpark range of what it could cost based on your ideas!
Fill out the “Custom Mural Contact Form” and be sure to let us know what you just want to know a “rough estimate.” We will look at the details you provided and give you an idea of how much it could cost-just remember it’s not a final estimate until the design is created.

That’s a tough one…because our previous clients have gotten us excited about different subjects to paint. We do love painting realistic animals, classic cars, patriotic themes, and cartoons. But it is exciting to paint anything and everything under the sun!

We can paint just about any type of wall: concrete walls, brick walls, drywall, metal walls-haven’t run into a wall we can’t paint yet!
Corrugated metal walls do present a little bit of a challenge to do perfectly straight lines or lettering, but don’t let that stop you from reaching out! We can often come up with solutions to your wall concerns, and still give you a wonderful mural! We may just need to tweak the design a little to accommodate the type of wall you have!
